Lotte + Josh | Amish Daily Farms Wedding in Whitehall, MT
Some weddings remind us why we do what we do. Lotte and Josh’s wedding at Amish Daily Farms in Montana was one of those days—deeply intentional, rooted in faith, and overflowing with presence.
The bride’s family not only owns the venue but lives and farms there. Their home became the backdrop for a wedding that felt like legacy unfolding. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a celebration—it was a testimony.
Their ceremony of 250+ guests lifted the barn rafters with hymns, and in one of the most moving moments we’ve ever witnessed, the entire congregation joined in a blessing over the bride and groom. Lotte’s grandma played the harp, underscoring the vows with reverence and beauty.
The reception carried that same heart: homemade food prepared by Lotte’s mom, cupcakes joyfully baked by Josh’s 11-year-old sister, and dancing that filled the floor from the very first note. We were amazed—every single guest knew how to line dance (something us South Dakotans are still trying to figure out!).
Golden hour gave us portraits we’ll never forget. We wandered through pastures, laughed on trampolines, balanced on train tracks, and caught the pure joy of two people running into each other’s arms against the Montana sunset.
And beyond their wedding, Amish Daily Farms itself was unforgettable. Their glamping tents and cabins (which they rent out for weddings + events) gave us a firsthand taste of Montana living. We stayed in one of their glamping tents—our first time seeing a sky clear with stars, our first glimpse of mountains, and Morgan’s very first flight to get there. It was a trip of firsts, and it made the whole experience even more meaningful.
Lotte + Josh — your wedding is a story we’ll carry with us forever. Thank you for the honor of capturing it.
