CORBYN + MORGAN

We’re Corbyn and Morgan, married photographers based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We work together, raise 3 kids together, and spend a considerable amount of time asking each other where we put things. We photograph weddings throughout the Midwest, and our couples often tell us it felt like having friends there. That’s a pretty good place to start.

We got married.

Then we kept going to weddings.

OUR STORY

We got married in 2025, then spent the rest of the year photographing weddings in Sioux Falls, Montana, Minnesota, South Carolina, and the small towns in between. Being on both sides of the day gave us a lot to think about. You plan for months, then suddenly everyone you love is in one place and it’s happening. We want you to have time to enjoy that. We’ll help with the photographs and the timeline, but we also know when to let you finish hugging someone.

Corbyn

The one in charge of yelling at your family during portraits.

THE HUSBAND.

Corbyn writes music, loves Mexican food, and notices the energy in a room before anything else. That carries into how he photographs: watching how people move, who they gravitate toward, and the little exchanges happening while everyone’s attention is elsewhere. He’ll give you direction when you need it, but he’s always keeping an eye out for something he couldn’t have planned.

Morgan

Morgan is a girl’s girl with a thing for details and absolutely no claim to being quiet. You can tell her what’s on your mind, ask the awkward question, and be yourself without worrying about being too much. She wants to get to know you, and she’ll probably be laughing with you long before the portraits are over. At the reception, you’ll find her dancing with Corbyn or laughing at whatever he’s calling dancing. Outside of weddings, she loves time with our kids, Southeast Asian food, hammocking, and traveling somewhere she can be outside. Also jumping spiders. We should probably mention the spiders.

Running this Operation.

Outside of weddings, we’re parents to Layla, Haven, and Malachi. They’re a big part of why we’ve built this business the way we have. We want to make work we care about and still be there for their lives. Having kids also changes how you look at photographs. A picture that seemed ordinary when you took it can become the one you’re most grateful to have.

The Way.

We’re followers of Jesus. The Way is how we describe the faith that shapes our marriage, our family, and the way we care for people. We believe marriage is a covenant, and we know it takes grace to keep choosing each other in everyday life. That belief comes with us to every wedding we photograph. Whatever your story or where you are with faith, you’re welcome here, and we’ll treat the trust you place in us with care.

Our Favorite 3rd Wheel

Mikey loves cinematography and makes music full time as SMBDY ELSE. He joined us in 2025, and if you’re adding a wedding film, he’s the guy behind it. Outside of weddings, he’s into 3D printing and converting an ambulance into a mobile recording studio. Its name is Earl. It’s basically his child. His love of music carries into how he builds a film, paying attention to the voices, movement, and timing of your day. Corbyn’s favorite song of his is “Tin Man,” so consider that your listening assignment.
