Sadie + Braeden’s wedding day felt like it unfolded exactly as it was meant to. Held at Prairie Shores Resort in Madison, the setting offered space, calm, and a full weekend experience that allowed everyone to truly settle in and be present.

Prairie Shores Resort quickly became one of our favorite venues to work at. The property sits right along the lake and feels tucked away from the world. With a large main house for getting ready, cozy cabins for guests, and thoughtful details throughout, the space invites connection rather than rush. The owners are incredibly kind, and the care they put into hosting only one wedding per weekend shows in every detail.

Sadie and Braeden shared their first look near the gazebo as soft light filtered through the trees. As the day moved forward, the prairie grass field came alive at sunset, the horizon stretching wide and glowing in a way that felt almost unreal.

Their ceremony space was just as meaningful. Triangular arches, a large wooden door for a dramatic entrance, and stone benches that welcomed guests comfortably created a setting that felt both grounded and sacred.

One of the most powerful moments of the day came during the reception. Sadie’s uncles each shared a dance with her, stepping in with love and presence. The room fell quiet, emotion filling every corner, and not a single person walked away untouched.
