There’s a lot to plan for a wedding. Being good at having your picture taken doesn’t need to be one of those things. We’ll help you figure out the timing, give you direction, and photograph the people you brought together. You get to enjoy being there.

IN GOOD HANDS

We’ll give you a little direction during portraits, round up your family, and let you know when the light is too good to pass up. No modeling experience required. When you’re catching up with an old friend or your grandma pulls you in for a hug, we’ll keep photographing and let you have your moment.

Here’s how this goes.

Tell us your date, your plans, and what you’re still figuring out. We’ll check availability, answer your questions, and help you choose a collection.

First, we talk.

Once you’re booked, we plan your engagement session, work through the timeline, and learn who and what you want photographed. Family names included. We can’t yell “Uncle Steve” if we don’t know he’s Steve.

Then, we get ready.

Your first sneak peeks arrive within 48 hours. When your full gallery is ready, we’ll send you a link to download your photographs, share them with your people, and order prints.

Here’s what you can book, what comes with it, and what it costs. If you’re unsure which collection fits your plans, we can talk through it togeter.

Let’s talk numbers.

Full day coverage begins with getting ready and continues through the main reception events and about an hour of open dancing. We’ll agree on the timing together.

QUESTIONS?

A few things you may be wondering.

  • Start with our contact form. We’ll check your date, talk through your plans, and help you choose a collection. A signed contract and a 50% retainer reserve your date, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding.

  • Absolutely. We’re based in Sioux Falls and photograph weddings throughout the Midwest and beyond, including the Black Hills. Tell us where you’re headed and we’ll talk through any travel costs before you book. Your included engagement session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, with travel included within 100 miles of Sioux Falls. Beyond that, additional mileage is $0.70 per mile.

  • Then you’re in very good company. You don’t need to arrive with poses memorized. We’ll give you direction, help you settle in, and leave room for you to interact with each other. Your engagement session is a chance to get comfortable with us before the wedding, too.

  • You’ll receive photo sneak peeks within 48 hours, so you’ll have something to look through while you’re still finding bobby pins. Your full photo gallery arrives online, ready to download, share, and order prints. We’ll confirm your full-gallery delivery timeframe before you book. If your collection includes film, plan on delivery within 2–3 months.

  • Yes! The Double Feature and The Deluxe Edition both include full day video coverage with Mikey and a 5–7 minute highlight film. The Deluxe Edition also includes your full ceremony film. If you’ve already booked photography and want to add video, reach out so we can check Mikey’s availability and talk through the upgrade.
