McKenna + Nathan | Plainview Barn Wedding

Bryant, SD | 5/17/25

McKenna and Nathan’s day felt like a deep breath in the middle of nowhere—slow, meaningful, and full of heart. Held at Plainview Barn, a quiet family farmstead in Bryant, SD, their wedding was as stress-free as it gets. No frills, no fuss—just love. McKenna made her own bouquet and cake. Nathan designed her ring and had a friend craft it. Their wedding party? Just a best man, maid of honor, and two flower girls. It was simple in the most intentional way. Nathan’s uncle sang during the unity candle, and a close friend performed their first dance song. Dinner was a farm table feast—smoked lamb, roasted asparagus, and local honey from McKenna’s parents’ beehive as a parting gift. May 17th also happens to be Norwegian Constitution Day, tying into their roots—he’s Norwegian, she’s Swedish—adding a quiet layer of meaning to it all. They ended the night with sparklers, a soft goodbye to a day that felt like home.
