Jaide + Jaxon’s Wedding at Janke Farm in Madison, SD
From SDSU to “I do,” Jaide + Jaxon’s story came home on September 12, 2026, when they got married at Janke Farm in Madison, South Dakota.
Their story started at South Dakota State University, where Jaxon played football and Jaide ran track and cross country. Jaxon held the athletic training room door open for Jaide, and that small interaction became the beginning of something much bigger. A first date at Zesto’s, a tiny first apartment, and a football journey that took them across the country all became part of the life they were building together.
When it came time to get married, they brought everyone back to their own land. Their outdoor ceremony took place in the pasture, surrounded by the people they love. Knowing how much life had happened between that first meeting at SDSU and this day made photographing them here especially meaningful.
There was plenty to celebrate once they were officially married. The wedding party popped champagne, and Jaide + Jaxon gave everyone a first dance that deserved its own moment in the spotlight. Looking through their photographs, we love seeing those different parts of the day together: the place they call home, the people who showed up for them, and the fun of finally being married.
This wedding had a personal connection for me, too. Jaide’s dad used to be my boss, and getting to photograph his daughter’s wedding years later made being there even more special.
Jaide + Jaxon, thank you for having us there to document this part of your story. Congratulations to the Jankes, and of course, GO JACKS!
