Cozy Winter Minis | Sioux Falls, SD

Dress warm but make it feel like you. Layers always photograph beautifully, think cozy sweaters, scarves, boots, and long coats. Neutral or earthy tones (cream, tan, green, brown, rust, or black) blend best with the natural evergreens at Tuthill park. Avoid bright neon colors or overly busy patterns so your connection stays in focus.

You’ll receive a minimum of 10 fully edited images from your session, delivered in a private online gallery where you can download and order prints. We always include a few extra favorites if we capture more than expected (which usually happens!)

We’re definitely hoping for snow, it’s part of the magic! Light snowfall or chilly temps are totally fine (and often gorgeous). If there’s a blizard or extreme weather, we’ll schedule a “Retake Day” to make sure every family or couple still gets their session in beautiful conditions. You’ll be contacted personally to confirm the new date that works best for you.

We'll be shooting at Tuthill Park (3500 s Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls, SD). Once you book, you’ll get a detailed email with parking instructions and our exact meeting spot so it’s easy to find us when you arrive.

You’ll receive your online gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session, with a sneak peek sent within the first few days! We want you to have them in time to order holiday cards or gifts.

Mini sessions run on a tight schedule since each slot is only 20 minutes. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to park, get settled, and shake off the winter chill. We’ll make sure you still get a great variety of photos, even if we have to adjust slightly.

Absolutely! Families, couples, and even pups are welcome- just let us know in advance so we can plan a little extra buffer time and maybe bring treats for your furry friend.
